    Reports to:       Shift Supervisor

    Classification:  Non-Exempt


    Scope of Responsibility: Under the direction of the Supervisor and Lead, the Painter & Blaster performs all duties in the paint & blast process, such as surface preparation, spray-gun application of liquid coatings, wrapping painted products for shipment, operating heavy equipment to move product around the large pole coating facility and perform abrasive blasting to prepare products for application of liquid coatings. The painter/blaster is also responsible for understanding and complying with safety and environmental regulations and policies as they pertain to the painting & blasting procedures.


    Essential Duties:

    • Operate large forklifts and all associated paint/compressor equipment including guns, hoppers and collection systems
    • Follow blueprints for the coating dimensions and measurements accurately
    • Prepare and set-up/blast with sand, shot, or grit
    • Use blaster to prepare part or assembly surface for coating
    • Prepare paints. Use wet and dry film.
    • Apply high build epoxies according to project specifications Apply paint. Use professional painting techniques with industrial spray equipment, airbrushes and industrial paint booth methodologies while following SSPC painting practices
    • Utilize a variety of spraying devices airless and air powered sprayers
    • Maintain paint equipment and troubleshoot or report issues
    • Clean and maintain associated compressors
    • Achieve/maintain consistent DFT
    • Electronically collect labor hours and track process information on each job
    • Identify material by job number, piece mark, labels and/or other applicable indicators
    • Maintain compliance with regulations and policies regarding safe storage, use and disposal of hazardous materials and hazardous wastes
    • Follow established housekeeping standards
    • Additional duties as assigned


    Position Requirements:

    • Prior paint booth/blast and Manufacturing experience highly preferred
    • Regular, consistent & timely attendance is required
    • Must be able to obtain STS Crane/Forklift Certification
    • Experience using forklifts highly preferred
    • Knowledge of hand tools, grinders and proper PPE during use
    • Knowledge of basic shop mathematics, addition, subtraction, fractions and decimals
    • Basic understanding of English is required. Ability to speak, read and write in English highly preferred
    • Must know, or be able to learn, how to read a tape measure and blueprints
    • High School Diploma, or equivalent preferred


    Physical Requirements:

    • Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 75 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects
    • Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, tugging, stooping, bending, twisting, crawling and handling of materials.
    • Position requires manual dexterity, ability to pick/pinch and work with fingers, repetitive motions of wrists/hands/finger, arm-hand steadiness and a safety-minded individual.
    • Effectively and safely utilizes ladders, manlifts, forklifts, overhead cranes, etc.       Ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
    • Must be able to work in an open environment for long shifts (including weekends) exposed to extreme temperatures, standing entire shift
    • Must have the ability to concentrate on tasks for long periods of time and be able to observe and receive information from all relevant sources
    • Visual acuity to perform visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes
    • Ability to perform duties in confined areas wearing all necessary PPE including protective clothing and respirators

Shipping & Receiving Clerk


  • Daily tasks for Shipping and receiving.


    You will be tasked with receiving shipments from FedEx and UPS in good condition (i.e. not damaged boxes or material), you will need to identify what boxes will be received by you for the inspection department and what items will go to the shop or certain personnel in the building. Received boxes pertaining to inspection will be received and given an order number and you will take them in to inspection department, you will also be tasked with shipping the items that are inspected and passed inspection to address provided by our contractor. Shipping will be done thru a website provided by our contractor (you will be trained how to use said website), you will inspect all paperwork and assure it meets our contractor’s and our standards. You will also be tasked with answering emails from our suppliers concerning item dispositions and shipping ETA’s, you will work as a team with another shipping clerk and inspection team. We have a time frame we need to stick to on items received, inspected, and shipped, you will be required to stand for more than six hours and lift box’s up to 70lb+. We will also provide forklift training for freight shipments, it will be required for you to have some familiarity with a computer as most if not all listed tasks are done on a computer. Must be able to take direction from peers.

  • Position Summary:
    The Sweeper position is responsible for assuring that the mail is properly sorted and placed in trays and sleeved according to USPS regulations. This position is required to meet departmental standards which include hourly quotas, quality standards and procedural adherence.

    Position Responsibilities:
    • Checks mail to assure it is sorting to the proper bin, according to the current sort scheme.
    • Maintains a constant check for full bins, fallen letters and rejected mail.
    • Clears jams immediately and places recovered pieces in correct bins.
    • Checks the meter impression for correct date, money and endorsements legible.
    • Properly tray mail as it comes out of bins.
    • Monitors the print quality of the barcodes and assures correct barcode is being sprayed.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Summary
    The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. Works under general supervision.
    • Ability to read documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with supervisor and co-workers.

    • Install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
    • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
    • Perform machinist duties and responsibilities, fabrication when necessary.
    • Operate a forklift, and work from heights using man lifts or ladders.
    • Perform advanced mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
    • Read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical schematics, technical drawings, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
    • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
    • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
    • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
    • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
    • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
    • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
    • Operates office equipment including fax machine, telephone, copier and postage meter.
